Lightning fast Harley?? Ha ha the two words don’t go together unless your talking about how fast a jap, british or italian bike went past one. They are too heavy, bad brakes, bad handling, bad vibration. Absolutely nothing good about ‘em. What’s this guy doing, like 50 60 mph flat out? Ha ha

Nice vid. Its cool to see a sport bike rider and harley rider acknowledging each other. If your on two wheels, we are just one big happy family.

looks like the 10fwy. going towards berdo.

BTW, the victory sign you mentioned is not actually for victory but a gesture between riders meaning V Twin; signature Harley. Keep the faith and ride safe.

The camera is positioned inside the helmet very close to my mouth below my nose. It’s a small camera called kodak v570 you also will notice it films not just in Landscape mode but Ultra Landscape mode as you can see the video angle is very wide and not narrow.

What kind of helmet cam are you using? It take great video. Was the mic covered?

We are having beautiful riding weather now (Glendale, Arizona) but I said screw it and rode my HD Street Glide all summer anyway, even in 110 degree weather!! Got admit though I love San Diego weather!

The 16:9 aspect ratio distorts the video though it gives the video the dreaded “stair step jaggies” which is well known in ALL Playstation systems 1, 2, and 3.

it also makes things look super wide because it was stretched instead if being recorded naturally like that

Hey fool4alifetime I like sport bikes better also Iike the lines better and the way they are at higher speeds and corners but for looooooooooong rides I would choose a cruiser as they are more designed for comfort and heavier so better in winds… but for now I am a sport biker at heart :-)

I hear ya… I live in the Chicago area and all our Tollways are 55mpg but everyone drives about 75-80 + (and so do I)

If I was to do 55 in the right lane I’d probably get run over. haha

  15. fool4alifetime says:

idnt like harleys :( i like sports bikes better :)

On the freeways I ride about 90% of the time they are passing me up and I’ll be honest with you it’s posted 65mph they go 80mph because its the mean evil unforgiving freeways of the Inland Empire. Its like the autobahn out here in some spots.

  17. shockofgod says:

hmmm very good idea my friend, very good I’ll see if I can do that.

  18. hughes111 says:

Oh almost forgot to add, You could try leaving your footage along (Not making it widescreen) and exporting with widescreen settings instead. Might change the outcome.

  19. hughes111 says:

Awesome! Does the job! I was just woundering as youtube streched the image a little lol

  20. shockofgod says:

The camera comes with kodak easyshare software and I use that :-)

  21. hughes111 says:

Arr i see. What do you use to edit with?
    I use vegas 8 pro.

  22. shockofgod says:

It does film in ultra wide but then I have to add yt:stretch=16:9 as a tag notice the tags there? That makes it remove the 2 bars on the left and right side.

  23. hughes111 says:

    Nice video Shock!
Quick question, does your camera natrually record in widescreen or do you strech it during editing? I just noticed stuff looks… Wider then it should be, as if you dont have a wide angle leds.

  24. Specilum says:

    HAHA… yeah I figured so…

I’ll message ya with a more specific question when I get a few free moments…

    Thanks for the laugh…
