Harley-Davidson has three new models in its 2011 lineup: the SuperLow, the XR1200X and the Road Glide Ultra. Also new for Harley-Davidson is the PowerPak, which bundles an upgraded Twin Cam 103 engine, ABS, and the H-D Smart Security System on select touring models. The PowerPak will come as a standard feature on the 2011 Road King Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, and Road Glide Ultra models, and will be available as a factory-installed option on the 2011 Street Glide and Road Glide Custom models. The factory-installed PowerPak costs $1995.

The new SuperLow combines revised front-end geometry, new wheels and tires with a reshaped seat and handlebars and targets new riders.

2011 H-D Road Glide Ultra

The new Road Glide Ultra is powered by a Harley’s Twin Cam 103 engine and has frame-mounted fairing. It is packed with touring perks, such as the King Tour-Pak luggage carrier, vented lower fairing, anti-lock braking system, Harley-Davidson Smart Security System, cruise control, and a four-speaker 80-watt Harman/Kardon Advanced Audio System.

2011 H-D XR1200X
The new XR1200X was released early and is Harley-Davidson’s Sportster performance bike, with adjustable front and rear suspension, floating front-brake rotors, and a high-compression 1200cc Evolution V-Twin engine. It replaces last year’s XR1200, but has better brakes, fully adjustable suspension and some cosmetic changes.

Also in the lineup are all of the previous-year Softails except the Cross Bones. The Softail family gets updated hand controls: The trip switch is now on the left-hand control (moved from the speedo area), the odometer has a larger readout with more info (including gear selected and a digital rpm display), and the hazard lights are in a single button on the right-hand side. ABS is now an option for the 2011 Softails and can be bundled with the H-D Smart Security System for $1195.
